Mia Jairian, a true master at blending faith with fresh beats, is back with another banger. Teaming up with Brett Raio, their latest track "Be Better" is a fire mix of Christian Hip-Hop and R&B that hits both the soul and the speakers hard.

It kicks off with a chill, prayerful rap intro?just when you think it?s going to keep it mellow, the beat drops, and you?re hit with a vibrant, sun-soaked melody that?s impossible to ignore. Jairian is all about merging his deep-rooted Christian vibes with modern sounds, and "Be Better" proves he?s got the formula down.

But this track isn?t just about feel-good vibes. It?s a wake-up call. Jairian?s lyrics challenge us to stop pointing fingers and start looking within. It?s a message of growth and accountability that?s as bold as it is necessary, especially in today?s world.

Music & Faith:

1. Transformation Through Music: J.Ryan to Jai Rian - Can you describe the turning point that led you to transition from secular music to Christian music? How did this decision impact your creative process? I think for me the turning point to change my name from J.Ryan to Jai Rian took place once I started to see how much evil is in the secular space, I couldn't continue to call myself a believer and make music that glorifies the world. It was time for me to start honoring God with my gifts and talents and just really focus on devoting myself to Kingdom business.

2. Musical Inspiration: Who are some of your biggest musical influences, both secular and Christian? How do their styles, if at all, influence your sound? My biggest influencers are artists that stand for something more than music, that stand for change, artists like 2Pac, Bob Marley, Micheal Jackson, were some of the few I listened to growing up.

3. Message in the Music: What message do you hope listeners take away from your new release, particularly in regards to your faith? The message in Be Better is exactly that, striving to Be Better for your partner, for yourself, and for God. We should all be challenging ourselves to be better spiritually, physically, and mentally. The more we seek God the better off we are.

Life on the Streets & Redemption:

4. Life Before Christ: Can you share a glimpse into your experiences on the streets? What challenges did you face, and how did they shape you? I could go on for days answering this question but to keep it short I wasn't a victim of my environment, I was a victim of my pain. My pain led me into the streets, violence, drug addictions, suicidal thoughts, depression, house robberies, stealing cars, selling drugs and just seeking out ways to come up. Coming from a broken home impacted me as a child and set the tone for trouble. The thing is I was saved during it all, I was just battling my flesh and seeking God's word at the same time. The pain I carried was just too much to bare.

5. Finding Faith: How did you come to find faith in God? Can you describe the turning point in your spiritual journey? I found faith when I was a young boy but struggled with my flesh. It was a progress but over the years I died more and more to myself to become more Christ-like.

6. Overcoming Struggles: Did your faith play a role in helping you overcome the challenges you faced on the streets? If so, how? Definitely, my faith in God is what carried me through. Putting my trust in Him and having His protection over me. I?ve had many close calls that only God could protect me from.

Deeper Dive into "Be Better":

7. Personal Growth: The song "Be Better" speaks to a desire for personal growth as a Christian man. Can you elaborate on the specific areas where you feel you need to improve? I feel I can always improve to become a better version of myself. I?m always seeking to be more patient, compassionate, understanding, loving, and forgiving. God has helped me in so many areas, especially with my anger.

8. Vulnerability: Sharing one's shortcomings can be challenging. What inspired you to be so open and vulnerable in this song? I believe vulnerability is a superpower and that we should all tell our truth. The word of God tells us to share our testimonies and the testimony of Christ so I strive to be transparent and open in all that I do especially when writing music.

9. Fan Connection: Do you hope that "Be Better" will resonate with listeners who are also on their own personal journeys of faith and growth? How do you see this song impacting your audience? I think when people listen to this song it?ll encourage them to seek to be better, not only for themselves but for their relationships. It?s not easy making relationships work and it takes just that, work! God should be the core in all relationships.

Looking Forward:

10. What's Next?: What are your hopes and aspirations for your music career moving forward? How do you see your faith influencing your future work? Honestly, I just want to make ordained connections and give listeners something they can relate to, pointing to Christ! I?m excited about what?s to come and working with other artists who are like-minded.
