Lady Pulse is back, and this time, she's bringing some serious heat to the scene. Known for her sultry vocals and magnetic stage presence, Lady Pulse is quickly becoming a force in South Florida's Pop, R&B, and Urban music scene. With two albums and a string of chart-topping singles, she?s making waves and proving she?s here to stay?keeping the vibe high and the dance floors packed.

Now, she?s raising the stakes by teaming up with Miami?s legendary production trio, Eartight, for a fiery Drum & Bass remix of her hit track, "You Got Me So Ruthless (Love Express)," from her debut album Absolutely Ruthless.

Known for their flawless remixes and groundbreaking original work, Eartight (Bryce, Pantoja, and Pauly Lama) have infused their signature high-energy sound into Lady Pulse?s already hypnotic vocals. The result? A remix that?s an absolute banger?blending dance music, R&B, and hip-hop into one intoxicating mix.

Since their rise in 2003, Eartight has been the go-to name in Miami?s Urban & Dance scene, remixing tracks for top-tier artists and producing originals that get the crowd moving. With this latest collaboration, they?ve taken Lady Pulse?s raw talent and made it explode on the track. This is one remix you won't want to miss!

So, I?m gearing up to interview Rick "Eartight" Pantoja, one of the major founding members of Eartight. This guy has been dominating the scene for years, and we?ve got an incredible release to discuss. We?re diving into what makes their sound so unique?maybe we?ll uncover that secret sauce, maybe we won?t. But hey, you can?t hit a home run if you don?t step up to the plate and swing the bat! Let?s get into it!

Q: You?ve been killin? it since 2003?how do you keep that fire burning in an industry where trends change faster than a DJ drops the bass? What?s the secret sauce to staying ahead of the game?

A: To always keep a fresh perspective, I listen to the latest releases across all genres, from house to hip-hop. It?s essential to stay tuned into what?s new and emerging. We form our ideas based on these sounds and push the boundaries from there.

Q: Let?s be real, the soundscape has evolved like crazy since you first started. How do you keep your production fresh without losing that classic Eartight flavor?

A: We?ve had songs charting since around 2007-2008, which confirmed our sound resonated with listeners. We stayed true to our essence while continually evolving, adapting to new trends without compromising who we are.

Q: We all have those moments where we either level up or fall back. What was that turning point for Eartight where you knew you weren?t just in the game?you were changing it?

A: Having success early on helped validate our place in the industry, reinforcing that we belong. It was about staying true to our sound and realizing that people come to us for what we uniquely offer.

Q: The grind isn?t for everyone. What?s been your go-to mindset when things got rough and you had to push through? How do you keep from hitting that burnout wall?

A: Passion is everything in this business. Even when I?m burnt out, I want to keep going. However, stepping back to recharge and gain fresh insights is crucial. Sometimes, experiencing life outside music is what fuels creativity.

Q: In the studio, I imagine it?s all about keeping the energy right. What?s your formula for staying sharp with your mixing and production, especially when everyone?s looking for something new?

A: Acoustics play a huge role in my mixing. A well-tuned room allows me to hear everything correctly, reducing the need for revisions and making my work smoother.

Q: You?ve weathered a lot in this game. What?s one thing that?s kept you solid through all the highs and lows? Any tricks of the trade that have kept Eartight strong when others folded?

A: Staying true to ourselves and our sound is key. It doesn?t matter what?s popular; we focus on what we do best. Our fans know what to expect from us, and we deliver that consistently.

Q: Alright, for the young guns stepping into this industry, what?s the one gem you?d drop on them that you wish someone had told you when you were starting out?

A: Know your worth but be realistic. Don?t overprice your work just because you think your sound is ready. Experience matters, and you need to build your reputation before commanding high fees.

Q: You?ve seen plenty of people rise and fall in the game. What?s the biggest trap you see newcomers walk right into, and how can they avoid it?

A: Newbies often get too ambitious too quickly. They might try to charge like top producers without having the experience to back it up. It's vital to understand your place and build from there.

Q: The music industry?s always evolving, but what keeps you excited about what?s next? How do you see the younger generation pushing boundaries and keeping things fresh?

A: The evolution of the industry is thrilling. I?m excited to see how the younger generation is pushing boundaries and bringing fresh ideas. Their energy is a driving force in keeping the scene alive.

Q: Legacy is a big word. When it?s all said and done, what do you want the Eartight stamp to represent in music? How do you want people to remember your contribution to the culture?

A: I want Eartight to be known for authenticity and creativity. Our contributions should represent the evolution of sound while staying true to our roots.

Q: This remix of "You Got Me So Ruthless (Love Express)" is already making waves, but I gotta know?what was the inspiration behind the remix itself? Did you approach it with a specific vibe in mind, or did the track evolve in the studio?

A: The original song struck me with its reggae island vibe. I heard the dub bass lines and naturally went for a Drum & Bass electronic mashup, allowing the original vibe to guide us.

Q: Every remix has its magic moment, the part where everything clicks. What was that moment for this track? Was there a certain sound or element you added that took it from good to "we can?t wait to drop this"?

A: The moment we decided to mix in the Drum & Bass vibe was the turning point. It just clicked, and the energy shifted to something truly electrifying.

Q: Eartight is known for slipping in those little production gems that fans catch later. Are there any hidden details or "easter eggs" in this remix that your day-one fans should be listening out for?

A: Absolutely! There?s a cityscape sampling in the track with the sounds of cars and traffic. If listeners have good ears, they?ll pick up on that little gem.

Q: Now that you?ve given "You Got Me So Ruthless" this Drum & Bass twist, are we going to see more remixes in this style from you guys, either with Lady Pulse or other artists?

A: Definitely! We have a busy winter ahead with several remixes and original tracks lined up, including more in this style.

Q: Looking ahead, can fans expect this remix to be part of a bigger project? Are there more collaborations or remix collections in the works that we should be excited about?

A: Yes! Fans can look forward to more remixes and original content coming out this winter, including projects on our new label, Snake Creek Records, and a big push towards the Winter Music Conference in March.
